The 18 holes are varied, fair and challenging. There are some tricky doglegs, slightly undulating greens and, time and again, elevated tees with beautiful views of the natural surroundings.

The course is very well maintained – the fairways are lush green, the bunkers are playable, and the rough is fair but unforgiving. A cart is not essential, but if you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can hire one. The clubhouse with its restaurant and terrace is the perfect place for a cool drink or a plate of pasta after your round.

About the destination

The name used to be hyphenated as Friuli-Venezia Giulia until 2001.
